at the beach, same thing as the shower
i could look like a creep sitting on the beach for 3 hours and no get in the water
when building houses, i could screw the whole house up (even if they say theres no way to, i'd find the loop hole by axident)
i could hurt somone else and look like an ass
i could hurt myself and look like a klutz

Hi there, Spys
I hope you have a great time on your trip. Yes, there are lots of things that can go wrong - but this is true all the time, and most of them don't. I'd bet that most of the people going with you are thinking much the same things right now. You'll probably find that you all snore, now and then, for example.
There should be experienced people around who make sure that what you're doing is right, both for the house itself, and for the safety of you and the others working on it. It's not a test: the organisation that you're working for will want you to have some good experience, and fun, doing something that will be a long-lived benefit for others. It's not in their interest for anyone to get hurt, or for the house not to be right.
I'm looking forward to hearing all about it, and I think it will turn out much better than you fear. Have a great week!
*hugs*
Mark
thanks Mark!!! *hug back*
ill keep you guys posted. i tried uploading a picture through the mobile blogger, but it wasent working so ill try and look into it before i leave. it might not work though. you guys may have to put up with my 160 cariter posts haha. (that all the letters they allow)
i gtg to lunch now. Peace!!!
OMG kid...lol... I just got back in and read your post!!! You really are WAY too nervous!!
My suggestion is that you go on this trip with the chief goal of being the nice, funny guy that you are, and helping those wonderful people that you are going to meet, build the house of their dreams!! The only way to screw this up, is not to go!! Even if you aren't a master carpenter like me, you will be really needed to help in SO many different ways that it will surprise you!! Just work as hard as you can, and pay attention to the more experienced guys there, and you're going to learn some cool things, and remember this for a lifetime, I kid you not!!
The whole shower/ beach thing is nothing to worry about!! Have a sense of humor about it- learning to laugh at yourself a bit, is priceless, disarming and endearing!! I don't care how overweight you are- go out and have fun.... what I would do if I was nervous in a group setting is to picture everyone naked, and it would cause me to laugh and realize that NOONE is perfect, so why spend even a second of your life, worrying about it?? Nahh!! Not me, and not you either!! If it was me, I'd entertain everyone, and sing in the shower!!!
OMG kid, I'm SO jealous of you right now, I have goosebumps!! Go, and have a GREAT time!!! I can't wait to hear about it!!! luv, tman<3<3<3
