so you guys know my friend who went to jail? got released the next day. his mom found the money to bail him out. now hes on probation until the end of summer. and you know how i was woried hed get kicked out of school? he wasent, but now hes transphering to public school. today was his last day... depressed again
thats really all thats been goin on. ill let you guys know if anything else happens.

Well, that's interesting... I thought his parents wanted him to stay in... I guess it wore on his mom, eh?
Did you get a chance to talk to him much, Peter? What does he say about everything? It sounds like the court disposed of the case rather quickly... Maybe the jails are too full for a 1st time assault case... In that sense, he's really lucky... Hopefully the kid he beat on, is OK. Otherwise, he's not done with court- there might still be civil charges filed, to recoup money for medical bills and maybe even punitive damages that he'll have to pay, one way or the other.
I hope you try to put this in the right place, and stay as upbeat as you can. You'll still be able to see him after school and on weekends, so that's doable! And, considering where this seemed to be heading, it's a heck of a lot better than you thought, right? I mean, you thought he might be in for 6 months! So, feel grateful that he escaped with his skin... luv, U.T.<3
Moms have a tough time letting their kid sit in jail. It's not a pleasant place, especially at your age - don't ask me how I know...
Hopefully you can stay in touch, though I guess it won't be every day any more. But quite frankly, it just seems strange that they would pull him out of a much more structured environment than any public school, but perhaps they want him away from the other person. It sounds like he needs good examples (like you, right?).
I'm glad that it turned out so much better than you expected. A bad day turned better - sorry it wasn't great with him coming back to school with you.
