ok, so i have my learners. i have only been in a parting lot twice, today and last week. well in the parking lot outside a local shop, there was a mound of snow in the middle of one of the rows, so there were probably 10-12 spots, and they were all filed. so i backed up, and went forward, and repeated 10 times with no luck at getting out. there was a woman in a white truck, the truck was off, and she was honking at me... that BITCH!!! pissed me off. my mom was like, is she honking at you? i said i dont give a f, she can wait. my mom got mad at me for saying the letter f... no comment.

well thats really all, im just ranting at all you women in white truck. ok, i gota go to sleep. Peace!

hey kid... At least you didn't hit her!! I took driver's ed through a high school program, and ended up in one of those weird cars where the instructor has the extra brake- you know what I mean; they must still have them!! Anyways, I don't know how it happened, but my best bud and mw ended up in the same car, and did all our post-classroom work in that car... OMG!!... THAT turned out to be very interesting for me and Edi (my best buddy), and hilarious too, but I think our instructor aged about 10 years, in that few weeks...

When we practiced parking in the school parking lot with those orange cones, Edi was pathetic and I was constantly goading him from the back seat, cracking up every time he demolished a row of cones and snickering when he was lectured for not paying attention... Hey, what are friends for??? lol We were best friends for many years, so I loved him, and he knew it, and this was just part of our 'dance'!! We had SUCH a great time....

Finally, Mr. Klett (our driving coach and the HS shop teacher) told us that we were going to the town center to practice parallel parking for real... I KNEW this was a bad idea!! We piled into the car and Edi pulled out of the parking lot and headed down the street, only in the wrong direction!! Mr. Klett said, "Edi, where the hell, do you think you're going?" (he had given up being nice to us the week before...lol) Edi was kind of freaked already, just thinking about the parallel parking stuff, and wasn't thinking straight... When he realized that he had made a mistake, he asked Mr. Klett what he should do... Klett exclamed, sarcastically, "Whatta ya think?? Turn around!!" Edi said, "Here??" Klett said, "Duhhh?" So, Edi hit the brakes, and I mean he really hit the brakes, and turned the wheel at the same time, resulting in what we used to call, a highway turn (180degrees). I was laughing like a maniac, Edi was petrified, stuck to the wheel, Klett was in shock...

So, you would have thought that we would have parked, maybe changed drivers, IDK, something.... We didn't... Klett decided that Edi needed to work through this mistake, so we proceeded to the center, Edi shaking like a leaf... We reached an open spot, and Edi was asked to maneuver into the space between 2 nice cars and parallel park...I held my breath and sat quietly while he made a perfect maneuver into the space!! I was shocked!! So was Klett!! So was Edi!! I reached over the back seat and gave my bud a high 5... We were pumped!!

Then, Klett said, "OK, OK...let's blow this joint! But before you do, remember what you're supposed to do. (the checklist) So, Edi checked the side mirrors, the rear mirror, and put the left turn signal on, and looked at Klett... "Ok, I'm ready", he said, all confident... Klett said,"Well, whatta ya waiting for?", all happy, and such... Edi turned the wheel, released the brake and hit the gas, and WHAM, smashed into the car behind us!! OMG. He had forgotten to take the car out of reverse!! I know I heard the sound of breaking glass... Klett threw up his hands, reached over and put the car into park, and exited the car to look at the damage. Within seconds, he was back in the car. He said, "Put it in drive, say nothing, and get us out of here!" I couldn't believe it!! I tried to look back and see the damage, but Klett said "TURN AROUND!!"

I never let Edi live that one down... And, believe it or not, he now is the owner of a limousine company!!! lol luv, Tman<3
