The "gay guy" is you, I assume. But you probably weren't the only one - various statistics I've seen put the gay population at between 3% and 10% of the total. So if there were more than 20 or 30 people there, you almost certainly weren't the only gay guy. In fact, there was probably at least one gay person among the players, let alone the spectators!
